Inpatient Services

The hospital has a capacity to accommodate 1000 in patients at any given time. There are general wards, semi private and private wards. All patients admitted to the general ward of the hospital are charged a nominal fee for all the procedures and are also supplied with free diet. As an in patient they are also supplied with medication prescribed by the concerned doctor, which is dispersed from the central drug store. Patients admitted to special wards are charged accordingly. A discharge card is given to all the inpatients on discharge which helps in follow up of the patient.

Visitors are allowed only during the following hours:
Morning 6-00 Am – 7-30 AM and Evenings 4-00 PM – 6-00 PM

Only one attendant is allowed to stay with the patient. Staff nurses and supporting staff are on shift duty round the clock in all the wards. Lifts are available in all the blocks for patients from the ground floor. The hospital has a unique 50 bedded burns ward, a one of a kind in entire south east Asia managed by the department of Plastic surgery. The Government has spent lakhs of rupees to equip it with state of the art facilities, free nutritious food is provided in accordance with international food formula. The Infosis foundation has donated the centralised air-conditioning to the burns ward. There is a licensed blood bank equipped with advanced facilities which works round the clock which also caters to the In Patients of the hospital.

Outpatient services

The out patient department works weekdays from 9AM to 1PM and 2PM to 4PM  and on Sundays and general holidays from 9AM to 1PM. Wheel chairs and stretchers are available at the gate of the OPD for patients who are not in a position to walk or move. The hospital has 6 ambulances to commute patients. Every patient is issued a OPD card at the registration counters for the concerned doctors to record their observations, order for investigations, cross references and admission when necessary.
Essential drugs are also dispensed when ordered on the prescription pad of the Hospital by the doctors for free of cost.

Each speciality in the In patient and Out patient facilities are managed by a team of doctors under a Professor. Each professor is assigned one unit and is assisted by Associate professors, Asst Professors, lecturers, senior residents, post graduates and interns. Each of this unit is allotted one particular day of the week in which it manages the OPD and Emergencies. Like wise each of the surgical specialities also have specified days for operating in the major Ot and the Minor OT.

Lab Services

The laboratory has state of the art Auto Analyzers. We Endeavour to maintain the best standards in methods of investigations by means of suitable controls and checks.
Sample collection for routine investigations is done in a separate room for out patients. However for special investigations the patients are directed to the specific departments like pathology, microbiology, etc. by the treating doctors or the supporting staff.
Sample collecting timings: Week days—9 am- 11-30 am
Sundays and Holidays — 9 am- 10.30 am.
Laboratory services for essential emergency investigations are available round the clock.
Laboratory reports are made available within the shortest possible time which is specified in the patients reports/slips.
